Our Robots
Central research objects of project H.E.A.R.T. are our two humanoid robots "Pepper" and "NAO" of the company Softbank Robotics with the help of which we plan to explore the potential of this new
technology for university teaching.
One of the driving forces for our project is the desire to find out exactly what makes these robots (and humanoid robots in general) "different" and what the consequences are of these differences.
Our project will provide initial answers and starting points for future research. Since Pepper and Nao are versatile systems, suitable applications must be developed for the specific tasks we
investigate in the robot scenarios.
